Entry Forms
The opening and closing dates for entries for this year's show will be confirmed soon. Please DO NOT enter yet!
In 2022, we introduced a new digital method of entry that has helped to simplify entering, speed up the sorting process and reduce the number of queries or amendments. Please read all the information below and if you have any queries don't hesitate to contact us - either through the website contact form here, or via email.
And don't forget to join us in our Facebook group for regular updates on this year's show!
“FORM A”
Please make a copy of (download) Form A and fill it out with your details, card summary and fee calculation, and return via email to [email protected]. You will also need to send your base entry fee at this point.
Form A can be found on the BMECS Google Drive here (please choose whichever file type suits your needs). If you do not have access to a scanner, you may submit your Form A as a hard copy at the same time as posting us your BMECS cards.
“FORM B” Form B is BMECS' new digital entry system which allows you to enter individual horses quickly and efficiently for each section. We ask that you submit one form per horse (don’t worry - it is pretty quick!). Please note that there are different forms for each section of the show - Performance, Halter and Workmanship.
Please take time to read the details and explanation at the top of the forms for each section to ensure your entries are correct.
If you have any trouble accessing or using the digital forms, please email [email protected]and we will do what we can to help.
Once you've filled out all of your digital forms, we'll send you a final spreadsheet or pdf for you to double-check your entries. Any problems can also be fixed at this point by contacting the BMECS Team.
BMECS CARDS
Please note, only one BMECS Card is required per horse in each division - if you are lucky enough that your model has multiple cards qualifying it for this year's show, you only need to send us one per division (Performance, Halter, Workmanship). We recommend that you use the oldest ones first, as these will expire before your newer ones! Check what years the Card is valid for, as you may be able to save surplus cards and use them to enter the same model horse in future.
Please post your BMECS Cards to: Emma Hogan, 6 Fir Tree Close, Staplehurst, Kent, TN12 0AT
Please ensure they are posted in time (along with Form A if you are submitting this as a hard copy) to arrive no later than the entry closing date stated at the top of this 'Entry Forms' section.
Entry Fees
This year's entry fees are currently being discussed and will be announced very soon!
Payment is required by PayPal, sent via the 'Friends and Family' option to the BMECS PayPal at:[email protected]
"COVID Cards"
We are again extending the dates on past BMECS cards for years where BMECS couldn't run due to Covid.
The following card dates are valid for the 2023 show:
2019/2020/2021
2020/2021/2022
2021/2022/2023
2022/2023/2024
2023/2024/2025 (N.B. only from 2023 shows prior to 30/07/23)
Proxy Showing
If you are unable to enter BMECS this year you have two options:
Tickets are now valid for three years, so providing they have not expired you can hold onto them and enter next year, OR...
Your entries can be proxy shown by somebody else! The rules and fees for someone having their entries proxy shown are the same as if the entrant were attending themselves.
If you are interested in supporting the show through sponsorship, volunteering as a judge or steward, or hosting a vendor table selling your wares, you can find all the information you need through the relevant posts on The BMECS Blog!
