In order for your models to be accepted for entry to BMECS 2017, a completed Entrant Form and Horses Entered Form must be returned to us, along with your completed BMECS Cards/Tickets and your entry fee,
Please note, only one BMECS Card is required per horse in each division - if you are lucky enough that your model has multiple cards qualifying it for this year's show, you only need to send us one per division (Breed, Performance, Workmanship). We recommend to use the oldest ones first, if some are from previous years, as these will expire before your newer ones! Take note of what years the Card is valid for, as you may be able to save surplus cards and use them to enter the same model horse in future years of BMECS!
The closing date for entries to BMECS 2017 is the 20th August 2017. No late entries will be accepted.
Information regarding where to send your completed forms and BMECS Cards to, as well as payment of entry fees, can be found on the Entrant Form. Please read the form carefully before filling it in. Both required entry forms can be downloaded here:
All entrants will received an Entry Confirmation Email, approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the show, containing a complete list of their entries and directions to the show. You will be given a BMECS Catalogue on the day of the show.
The entry fees PER DAY for 2017 are are follows:
1-5 BMECS Cards = £1.50 per card
6-10 BMECS Cards = £10
11-20 BMECS Cards = £15
21-30 BMECS Cards = £20
31-50 BMECS Cards = £25
51-75 BMECS Cards = £30
76-100 BMECS Cards = £35
101+ BMECS Cards = £40
Please note, entry fees are PER DAY. This means that if you enter 34 models on Saturday and 27 models on Sunday your total entry fee should be calculated as £25 Saturday + £20 Sunday = £45 total.
Entry fees are also calculated PER CARD rather than per horse - so if you have a model that is qualified in Breed classes as well as Performance and you want it to enter both divisions at BMECS, a Card must be entered for each division, meaning that when calculating your entries that particular model will account for two Cards.
If you are unable to enter BMECS this year you have two options:
Tickets are now valid for three years, so providing they have not expired you can hold onto them and enter next year, OR...
Your entries can be proxy shown by somebody else. The rules and fees for someone having their entries proxy shown are the same as if the entrant were attending themselves.
